Scenario to settlement
Yours for about five minutes at the front. Ours for most of what follows, from the credit work to the settlement booking.
Your part.
- Lodging itabout five minutes
Start with an address or paste your scenario. Check the details we pull out, or choose ‘No address yet’ to enter them yourself. Confirm the loan, security, term and exit details, then compare lender fit. Multiple securities are assessed together and separately, because some lenders will take one and not the other. The borrower’s assets and liabilities come later, once there’s a lender to send them to.
- The panel’s positionimmediately
Every lender is run against their encoded policy and comes back clear, conditional, needing one answer, or outside appetite, with the reasoning and the numbers behind each.
Ours, from there.
- Where our team picks it up
You tell us to run with it and we do the credit work: reconciling figures, testing the exit, structuring the entity and security position, and resolving whatever would otherwise come back from credit as a question or a decline. If restructuring moves the deal to a cheaper lender we’ll tell you before we send it anywhere.
- Sending itfive business days to respond
The lenders you choose receive it in the same moment. You’ll see when each opens it, which tends to tell you more than a phone call does.
- Comparing
Term sheets side by side: rate, amount, LVR, term, establishment, line fee, conditions, expiry and total cost of funds, with the declines underneath and the reason for each. We’ll give you our read on which one is genuinely best if you want it, and stay out of it if you don’t.
- Accepting
Your client signs the term sheet they chose. That signature is what names the lender to you and locks the fee, and every other lender loses access and is told the deal is not proceeding. They never learn who won. It’s timestamped and it can’t be undone, which is why the step asks you to confirm it properly.
- The submission
We collect the documents, cross-check every figure across them, and write the submission to that lender’s format. If a lease says $1,540 a week and the application says $1,650, we’d rather find that than have their analyst find it. When credit comes back with questions they come to us.
- Through to settlement
Valuation instructed and chased, legals, discharges from the outgoing lenders, settlement booked. You get updates at the points that matter and a call if something needs a decision.
What a verdict is.
A verdict shows how a scenario fits a lender’s stated policy. Clear means the stated tests pass. Conditional names the gap and the change that would close it. Outside appetite names the rule the deal fails. Needs an answer means more information is needed to check fit.
Every verdict names the policy version and the date it was encoded. The result is indicative. The lender assesses the application and makes the credit decision.
